Partner Engagement Manager - LATAM

Netflix has built strong partnerships with TV operators around the world to enable easy access to Netflix from a single remote control. These partnerships have been instrumental in accelerating Netflix’s global growth story and reaching audiences in their living rooms. The TV Operator Partner Engagement team is responsible for leading the integration of the Netflix application into the operator set-top box, collaborating with operators on product design, and creating long term value through partnerships.

The Partner Engagement Manager role is a senior position with cross-functional responsibilities and a hand in defining and executing strategic initiatives across Latin America. It will be based in our Sao Paulo office, reporting to the Director of Americas TV Operator Engagements in California. Expect 25% travel.


  • Define & implement engagement strategy with executives from leading operators
  • Influence partner’s product designs, user experience, and product roadmap
  • Lead internal and external engineering and product teams with confidence
  • Provide technical guidance to partners to accelerate time-to-market
  • Synthesize and streamline business and technology solutions that strengthen our partnerships while advancing the Netflix service
  • Be a collaborative leader, capable of driving internal & external stakeholders to consensus while balancing product and technology needs to achieve longer term relationship objectives
  • Be an excellent team builder with top-notch listening and presentation skills and crisp oral and written communications

Ideal candidate

  • 10+ years experience in a strategic leadership role with a leading technology company in Latin America
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of operator technology, especially set-top-boxes but also home gateways and middleware; platform-level experience with video-centric CE devices such as TVs or game consoles is also highly relevant
  • Designed and delivered world-class user experiences based on AB testing and consumer insights
  • Led complex, high-value product negotiations
  • Speaks fluent Portuguese and Spanish
  • Proven track record of managing multi-party technical projects, or technology ecosystems
  • Successfully led and delivered full lifecycle implementation projects and has played a key role in roll-out and ramp-up of significant consumer-facing software or services, especially for pay-TV, video or music
  • Data-driven analysis and decision-making
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field. MBA a plus
