Localization Program Manager (EMEA)

As a key member of the globalization team the PM will serve as the localization ambassador for key initiatives within the region. In coordination with regional stakeholders* and cross-functional regional partners, the PM will develop globalization strategies that support the supplemental and content efforts within EMEA. The PM will champion globalization priorities with an understanding of nuances dictated by regional workflows. The PM will serve as a liaison between regional and central management teams.

Strategy and Innovation

  • Define long-term strategy for regional supplemental workflows for IO marketing; supplemental, social copy, and creative assets (trailers, print, and digital) 
  • Determine strategies for localization advancement within EMEA, set goals, create and implement actions plans, and evaluate process and results
  • Work cross-functionally with regional stakeholders to identify complex workflow issues and collaborate on providing solutions while navigating ambiguity
  • Align with central and regional cross-functional partners e.g. LMs on quality strategy
  • Identify opportunities for workflow streamlining through analysis and sound data
  • Devise framework for executing exception based workflows for regional marketing team
  • Drive and support region specific Innovation initiatives like A/B Tests
  • Work with central and regional Globalization partners to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
  • Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors
  • Establish best localizations practices to address regional supplemental and long-form

Project Management

  • Manage end-to-end supplemental and long-form localization requests for on-time deliveries
  • Identify workflow issues and initiate corrective action in a timely fashion
  • Participate in project kick offs & meetings with cross-functional groups for planning
  • Schedule localization projects and define resource needs for project execution
  • Utilize sound judgement to prioritize high profile regional titles and resolve project dependencies
  • Anticipate, understand, and respond to the needs of internal and external clients to meet or exceed their expectations within the organizational parameters
  • Devise escalation pathway between central and regional offices on localization time sensitive requests

Stakeholder Management

  • Develop a stakeholder management strategy  
  • Build and maintain impactful working relationships with regional and global teams to achieve globalization goals
  • Work cooperatively and effectively with stakeholders and cross-functional partners to set goals, resolve problems, and make decisions that enhance localization effectiveness
  • Communicate with stakeholders to gain alignment and support on project goals
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing ongoing insights on project status and changes
  • Educate and evangelize regional stakeholders on localization processes.
  • Provide and share, regional perspectives, priorities and feedback on quality issues

  • Strong  technical knowledge related to localization and marketing
