Netflix is looking for a Coordinator of Publicity for its original series and films for Brazil market. The Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the market strategy to promote our original series, films, documentaries and specials in Brazil. This Coordinator will work with market leads to help support titles with the right country strategy and goal. They will work with broader cross-functional teams to maintain our aligned regional objectives and business drivers, including festivals, awards, talent relations, etc

The Coordinator will support a team of four Managers that will help create, shape, execute and manage campaigns for series and films, making use of multiple earned media channels, including broadcast, print and online. They will play a critical role in correspondence and trafficking of information. The team will focus on creating cultural moments in various countries and deliver high impact campaigns, exploring new tactics of promoting.  They will help pitch media, secure opportunities and cover set visits or help plan and work junkets. They have also worked alongside agencies, or have managed agencies on projects and can help manage a budget, and give visibility into their process successfully.

The ideal candidate is able to make wise decisions, even when faced with ambiguity and thinks strategically. They don’t fall back on PR 101 tactics and is eager to put a new spin on what a series or film campaign can be. They are a good listener and a real doer, and is able to multi-task and work at a clip pace. They are not afraid to get their hands dirty - and that could mean jumping in to handle tasks that range from writing a strategy, writing a series or film announcement, booking travel or negotiating hair and make-up. They collaborate well with partners that range from content/programming to marketing to social to product and beyond. Strong candidates can handle a vast amount of work and they are eager to learn. They are curious and also contribute effectively outside of their speciality looking to elevate. They aren’t timid about assessing their work when they are done to explore what they could have done differently or better. A good fit in the role has a candid and direct communication style. They are willing to admit to mistakes quickly and question values inconsistent with our values and Netflix culture.

The successful candidate for the Coordinator of Publicity role will have at least 5 years of entertainment experience in an agency, studio, network or journalism setting. They have relationships with key media as well as the ability to build and maintain connections with key journalists and social media influencers. BA/BS required.

Ability to speak/write in Portuguese and English is essential.
