Sr. Accounts Payable Analyst

We are looking for a Senior Analyst to support our global accounts payable operations and systems.  The perfect candidate for this role is someone that has a solid understanding of the P2P workflow, an ability to partner with technical teams and build strong cross functional relationships, a deep curiosity and passion for automation and process improvement, and the ability to manage highly impactful projects.  We need someone to analyze the invoicing and payments process/systems, identify efficiency opportunities, and lead projects to streamline and automate.  


  • Project management for innovation / system related initiatives for invoicing and payments, including OCR solution for invoice processing and host-2-host (H2H) payment integration with bank partners
  • Partner with internal technical teams and business partners to drive automation and efficiencies in the P2P process
  • Ownership of the AP close process, including maintaining the global AP close schedule, and preparing journal entries, account reconciliations and flux analysis
  • Work cross-functionally with Regional Finance  teams
  • Perform other duties and ad hoc projects as assigned, such as analysis of supplier statement of account reconciliations

Qualities We’re Looking For:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA and/or MBA is a plus
  • Understanding of SOX and Tax compliance for Supplier Invoices and Payments

  • Systems savvy - comfortable learning and implementing new systems; advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and other systems to analyze large data sets and automate manual tasks; experience implementing an OCR system to capture invoices is a strong plus; experience with Workday and other cloud-based ERP systems is a plus
  • Project management - ability to lead impactful projects to streamline and automate the Accounts Payable process
  • Understanding of accounting - ability to book journal entries, perform balance sheet recons, and add value added flux analysis as part of the accounting close process
