The Open Connect team plays a large role in the ongoing effort to invent and improve Netflix’s unique global internet TV experience. We build and deploy the infrastructure that delivers hundreds of millions of hours of tv shows and movies per day to Netflix members all around the world. We combine expertise in server hardware and software technologies, full-stack software development, distributed systems, with internet architecture, routing and protocol development. We also work closely with Internet Service Providers in 100+ countries to help them provide their subscribers with a great Netflix viewing experience.
CDN Reliability Engineer

Netflix is responsible for over 37% of Internet traffic at peak times and we're working collaboratively with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and IX centers to deploy Open Connect (OC), Netflix's Content Delivery Network. We are seeking seasoned engineers with extensive experience in *nix, networking, data analysis and large-scale 24x7 operations to deploy, operate and maintain this massive global streaming platform.
The FP&A team at Netflix is an embedded organization that helps to support and partner with all of the company’s functional departments in the areas of financial planning, forecasting and strategic analysis. Different from the Social Brand Manager at the helm of @Netflix social properties, the Originals Social Manager is tasked with building social fandom around our key global shows like Orange Is the New Black, House of Cards, Stranger Things or Narcos.While we regard community management as an essential and key function for this role, social managers at Netflix do a lot more than just publishing and replying to fans. Netflix social managers have a holistic view of the company and work closely with regional marketing and PR teams, as well as with other members of the social team tasked with building communities around our original shows.As such, social managers also function as social strategists in charge of developing and executing campaigns designed to both sustain and bolster positive social engagement around key shows with an emphasis on high-impact executions capable of generating social spikes and earned media.
