The Position:
The Operations Supervisor II will be responsible for assisting the Operations Manager in ensuring a safe, professionally rewarding and productive environment for the employees.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assisting with quality training for employees
• Ensuring production requirements and goals are met
• Setting up, operating and maintaining equipment to ensure production goals
• Supervising and problem solving operations and workflow issues
• Identifying new and better ways to deliver to members as promised
• Installing new equipment and implementing new processes
• Compiling and furnishing production information and statistics to Operations management
• Providing Operations Manager with data-driven production updates
• Providing first level escalation support to employees regarding HR issues (employee relations, worker’s compensation)

The ideal candidate is a reliable, strongly self-motivated individual who possesses strong results-oriented, organizational, technical and mechanical skills and who also generates the trust and motivation of those around her/him. She/He is someone in whom others trust and someone who leads through example.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 4-6 years experience managing non-exempt workers (5-25 individuals) in a high-volume shipment facility
• Track record of motivating high-performing non-exempt workers through effective and motivational leadership
• Successful track record achieving performance goals through effective leadership combined with personal performance
• Understanding of, how and ability, to optimize automation production machinery through troubleshooting machinery and systems
• Solutions-orientation
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
• Clean DMV record and valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass DOT Drug Screen, Physical, MVR and Background Check
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Effective verbal and written communication skills at all levels
• Travel requirements approximately 10%.

Salary for this position is $19.50 per hour plus benefits.
