The Position:
THE POSITION:

The Netflix Operations Production Supervisor directly impacts the success of the company by effectively managing employees to ensure that Netflix customers continue to receive the service experience that will WOW them.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This position is an autonomous, multi-functional, hands-on management opportunity. You will assist in managing a workforce of Operations Associates who process mass quantities of DVD’s rapidly and process these ensuring quality and accuracy. Supervision of Central Operations associates, including but not limited to: problem-solving, training, operational and work-flow management.

• Daily production management. Set-up, operate and maintain equipment to ensure production goals are met. Supervise and problem-solve operations and workflow issues, identify new and better ways to meet and improve output goals
• Ability to implement and drive processes
• First level escalation support to employees regarding HR issues including but not limited to employee relations and workers compensation
• Ability to report data and maintain production metricsResponsible for all aspects of Operations including but not limited to: Production, Facilities, Systems, Logistics, Inventory and Process Management, Materials, Health & Safety and Employment
• Hands-on supervisory position. Supervision and problem solving regarding operations and workflow issues. Resolving day-to-day issues.
• Assist in the training employees on all aspects of operations
• Ensuring Operations staff productivity
• Assisting in tracking and reporting production numbers on a monthly, weekly and daily basis to
• Conducting safety meetings as outlined by Regional Manager and Human Resources
• Consistent and timely communication with employees regarding production and quality goals and expectations
• Assisting in managing HR elements (employee relations, workers compensation, progressive discipline)

HOUR: 6:30am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 12:00am


QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years direct experience managing 25-50 employees direct labor population in a production, assembly, or fast food environment
• Experience analyzing production data
• Experience in, and solid understanding of, Process Management, Inventory Control, and Quality Assurance in a production environment
• Resourcefulness
• Must have good Judgment and Common Sense Approach to Business
• Excellent problem-solving skills in all areas of responsibility
• Clear oral and written communicator regarding expectations, issues, and feedback
• Proficiency with the English language.
• Must have electrical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to follow instructions, troubleshoot, perform occassional preventative maintenance and run basic system analysis on various types of machinery.
• Willing to get hands dirty.
• Automation experience preferred.
• Proven experience working with all levels of employees and management
• Ability to garner the loyalty and trust of direct reports
• Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in applications such as the Internet, Email (Outlook), MS Word, and MSExcel
• Experience setting up computer systems, installing hardware/software
• Second level hardware and software troubleshooting
• Must have a “can do” attitude with a sense of urgency and dedication to the success of the overall business mission
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to pass Criminal Background and Employment Checks

SALARY: $14.25 per hour

EDUCATION:
High School DiplomaCollege degree preferred
