| The Key Platforms team is a newly forming group responsible for prototyping, testing and building the Netflix experience for exciting new platforms like gaming consoles. Over the last ten years, Netflix has developed the world’s best personalization and movie finding technology – this team’s challenge is to bring it to platforms like gaming consoles and create a fantastic experience used every day by our growing subscriber base of over 10 million customers. In this role we need an engineer who is very technical, is a strong C++ programmer, and who is execution focused. Expect to work on a small team with a huge mandate to rapidly prototype and iterate on a variety of platforms. Only stars can get it done and your skills will be key. Here is your cheat sheet for the interview: You are deeply technical and bring a strong need to understand and build technology. You have years of experience building and designing object-oriented software. You are a great partner for your product management, engineering and design colleagues. You consistently deliver and colleagues want to work with you. You desire a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You can run with ambiguous requirements, make great judgment calls, and are comfortable with smart risk taking. You want to make a difference at a company that matters.
