| Netflix is looking for a hands-on engineering manager to work with us on enabling Netflix instant streaming on a wide variety of devices! About you: You are a respected leader for your team. You can manage cross functional projects, understand and address the needs and interests of different stakeholders, and leverage and motivate diverse teams. What you will do: You will lead projects that aim to prototype and implement Netflix instant streaming on a variety of CE devices, specifically around TCP/IP networking, security and video playback. You will work closely with our client platform, server, encoding and security teams, and your input will help evolve Netflix technology and policies. REQUIREMENTS: 10+ years of relevant software development experience, 5+ years in an engineering manager role Expert in OO design and implementation using Java, C# or C++ Experience with video playback software development is a big plus Experience with embedded platforms is a big plus |
